35mm Pinhole Lens

The Zero Optik Pinhole lens is a purpose-built cinematography tool that takes advantage of the ever-increasing sensitivity and dynamic range of today’s digital motion-picture cameras. It combines the smooth, impressionistic imagery of pinhole photography with the robust and precise construction that film crews expect of their equipment. With a focal length of 35mm, Zero Optik’s pinhole lens is compatible with any size sensor and any cinema camera, including those with spinning mirror reflex systems. A standard 95mm front diameter and 86mm filter threads make filtration simple and straightforward. Interchangeable laboratory-grade pinholes are quick to swap in the field and require no tools. Each pinhole is precisely laser-drilled in .0005”-thick stainless-steel and come in a range of sizes, enabling users to find the balance of resolution and exposure that best suits their project. Every lens comes with three pinholes (f/87.5, f/175, and f/350) and a custom hard case.
